Abstract

Structured and systematic financial management is crucial for ensuring the adequacy and accelerating the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This fundamental obstacle is often encountered by business owners, including Maison Momotaro Bakery, which operates in the Yogyakarta region. The partner is known to still use very simple transaction recording methods and does not yet have structured financial reports, thus complicating performance evaluation and strategic business decision-making. This community service program was implemented with the primary objective of optimizing the quality of the partner's financial reporting through the implementation of a practical bookkeeping system. The implementation method used was intensive participatory-based mentoring, which encompassed several systematic stages, including initial observation, problem identification, outreach, targeted training, and report preparation assistance. The results of this activity demonstrated significant success, with partners experiencing an increased understanding of business financial management. Currently, partners are able to document every transaction periodically and compile cash books and simple profit and loss reports. The implementation of this bookkeeping scheme has proven effective in helping partners accurately monitor revenue flows and operational expenses to support more targeted business decisions.
